Welcome to the Messy Minimalist

Welcome to my journey of designing a beautiful home. My boyfriend and I live in a new construction town house (he bought it, go him!) which is currently furnished with a mishmash of college furniture and hand me downs. I have no experience with home decor, but I'm hoping that my aesthetic as a clothing designer will translate to the house. We will be DIYing, thrifting, and craigslisting our way to the sleek and clutter free space of our dreams. Along my quest for inspiration I've become quite obsessed with home decor blogs and I thought what the hell, I should chronicle this!
